We sincerely hope that this school will serve you as an important institution where you can learn various virtues of martial art that includes self-discipline, respect, honor, concentration and competition.

Finally, the instruction at LAKEVIEW MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY is constantly directed toward that attainment of inner peace and tranquility within one's self, which we hope will help us to develop harmony and peace with our fellow man.

I teach Martial Arts here at my school, not just kicking and punching. Anybody can teach someone how to kick and punch, but not all can teach martial arts. Martial Arts are not a religion but a Way of life through the tenants and creed. This means I stress more the building of Honor and Respect, of course I teach how to kick and punch but the techniques are the older style (more traditional).

WHY STUDY TAE KWON DO?

Although self-defense is usually the reason most people study Tae Kwon Do, there are numerous other reasons: physical fitness, Weight control, figure control, confidence, self-respect, self-discipline or tension and pressure relief. Whatever the reason new student studies Tae Kwon Do, you soon become aware of many benefits from the training, both expected and unexpected. Tae Kwon Do students feel healthy and physically fit. They are confident that they are learning to defend themselves and this quiet confidence filters through to all phases of their daily lives:  Including home, job, and school. Etc. As they progress in Tae Kwon Do, students acquire a greater respect for themselves and for others....

Lakeview Martial Arts Academy is located in Highland Park, IL.  We are committed to providing quality martial arts instruction to each and every student.  We place a strong emphasis on discipline and respect.   We look forward to serving you.  Learning is the key to all our work.  Our teaching is done as if we were working with our own family.
